Raw Snickers Bar

Courtesy of our friends at “Wellness In The City”, we bring you the ultimate treat!  As always, skin-loving and guilt-free, but simple to make and yummy beyond belief!


INGREDIENTS: (vegan version)

1st layer:

  • almond flour x 60g
  • peanut butter x 4 big Tbsp
  • almond milk x 1/2 cup
  • protein powder (vanilla or peanut butter) x 1 scoop
  • maple syrup x 2 Tbsp
  • maple syrup x 1 tsp
  • almond/coconut milk x 100ml
  • salt + pepper

2nd layer:

  • chopped peanuts
  • peanut butter x 3 Tbsp

3rd layer:

  • Dark chocolate (85%) x 150g  (*make your own: mix raw cacao, coconut oil and maple syrup)
  • coconut oil x 1 Tbsp

METHOD:

  1. Mix all the ingredients from the first layer. Line a loaf tin with baking paper and press mixture in. Freeze for 1 hour.
  2. Spread ingredients from the 2nd layer over the top of the frozen mixture and sprinkle chopped peanuts. Press down gently. Freeze for 1 hour.
  3. Slice into bars or bite size pieces. Melt 150g of 85% dark chocolate with 1 tbs coconut oil. Dip pieces into chocolate and place on baking paper and back into freezer.just a line of text hich needs to be inserted in order to createThis is just a line of text which needs to bsertedder tocreate empty space.
